In two districts of the Chernihiv region, rescue workers have extinguished fires caused by Russian drone strikes.
According to Ukrinform, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Chernihiv region reported this on Facebook.
“Overnight, fires broke out in two districts of the region as a result of enemy attacks in the Chernihiv region,” the State Emergency Service noted.
In the Novhorod-Siverskyi district, the roof of a warehouse caught fire after being struck by a UAV.
In the Chernihiv district, a fire broke out on the roof of an active educational institution after a drone crashed.
Rescue workers quickly arrived at the scenes and extinguished all the fires.
There were no casualties or injuries, the State Emergency Service emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops attacked border settlements in the Chernihiv region with drones over the past day. A 68-year-old woman was injured in Snovsk.
