Iran Red Crescent says nearly 20,000 homes damaged in attacks

Nearly 20,000 residential units in Iran have been damaged in attacks, according to the head of Iran’s Red Crescent Society, state news agency IRNA reported. 

The report said, “24,531 civilian units have been damaged in various sectors, of which 19,775 units are residential.”

It added that 4,511 business units were also damaged, while 69 schools were hit and 195 teachers and students were injured.

The Red Crescent said 16 of its centres, along with 21 rescue vehicles and 19 ambulances, were also damaged.
