A Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli forces on Monday morning in the village of Kharsa, near Dura, southwest of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, Wafa news agency reported.
According to the security and local sources, Israeli forces opened fire on Ramzi Abdul Hakim al-Awawdeh near the Kharsa village junction, leaving him bleeding on the ground.
Sources added that Israeli forces prevented medical personnel from reaching him, reportedly confiscating ambulance keys. Al-Awawdeh's body was later taken to an unknown location.
According to a MEE report on 2 February, Israeli authorities are withholding the bodies of at least 766 identified Palestinians, nearly half of whom have been held since October 2023, despite Hamas having returned the bodies of all Israeli captives.
