The State of Palestine's official X account has praised Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar after she opposed a decision by Prime Minister Janez Jansa to remove the Palestinian flag from a government building in Ljubljana.

Musar announced that the Palestinian flag would be flown outside the presidential palace for a week and then displayed inside the building for the remainder of her term.

She said the flag would remain there “as a reminder to all who visit my office”, framing the move as a statement in support of human dignity and rights.
