Positive progress: What we know about the children injured in Russia's latest attack on Kyiv

Four children injured in Russia's large-scale attack on Kyiv on the night of 1-2 July are currently still in hospital. The condition of a one-year-old boy and a five-year-old girl, who are siblings, has been stabilised. A total of 56 people injured in the attack are currently receiving medical treatment.

Details: According to Klitschko, doctors have stabilised the condition of the young brother and sister. They were admitted to hospital together with their parents and grandmother. The family remains in hospital and is showing positive signs of recovery.

A 16-year-old girl was also taken to hospital.

Meanwhile, a 15-year-old girl is currently considered missing.

Klitschko said earlier that doctors had operated on a 10-year-old boy with severe injuries. He is currently in hospital with his grandfather. His parents remain missing as of the morning of 3 July.

Overall, 56 people are still in hospital, including six healthcare workers who came under Russian fire after responding to a call to the scene of the attack. They are receiving all the necessary medical treatment.
