Russia struck several regions of Ukraine with drones overnight, killing one person and injuring another.
In the early hours of Wednesday, April 29, Russian forces attacked multiple regions, including the Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

In the Odesa region, Russia targeted the Izmail district. Infrastructure in the city of Izmail was hit, including a district hospital building. Injuries were reported.
Kharkiv was attacked by drones approaching from different directions. One woman was injured by shattered glass and received medical assistance.
Damage in Kharkiv districts included:
- Osnovyanskyi district – damage to glazing at a hypermarket garden center, as well as two buses and one car
- Slobidskyi district – trees burned in an open area
- Nemyshlianskyi district – windows and roofs of 25 private homes damaged
The head of the regional military administration (OVA), Oleh Syniehubov, said emergency services were working to eliminate the aftermath of the attack.
Russia also carried out a combined strike on the Shostka district in the Sumy region, where hits were recorded in three locations.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS), residential areas were struck, causing fires. Rescuers pulled one person from under the rubble of an apartment building and evacuated 16 others.
Preliminary reports indicate one person was killed and one injured.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian drones targeted the Nikopol, Marhanets, and Chervonohryhorivka communities. An administrative building, private homes, and two fire trucks were damaged. No casualties were reported.
In the Mykolaiv region, Russian forces attacked the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities with first-person-view (FPV) and Molniya-type drones. According to regional head Vitaliy Kim, a private house in the village of Dmytrivka was damaged. No casualties were reported.
