Russian guided bomb strike on Kharkiv: people injured, body recovered from under rubble

Russian forces launched a guided bomb attack on the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city of Kharkiv on the night of 19-20 June, injuring several people, including a six-year-old child. A body has also been recovered from the rubble.

Details: Terekhov later added that the bombs had struck a two-storey residential building.

"Four people may still be trapped under the rubble. Five people are known to have been injured," he said.

Update at 05:00: Syniehubov said those injured in the strike on the Kholodnohirskyi district include two men aged 60 and 49, two women aged 54 and 87 and a six-year-old child.

He also said that another man required medical treatment.

"A 66-year-old man also needed medical treatment after suffering from shock," Syniehubov added.

Doctors are also providing medical treatment to two more people injured in the Kholodnohirskyi district.

Update as of 07:01: Syniehubov said the number of people injured in the strike on Kharkiv's Kholodnohirskyi district had risen to nine.

"Five people have been hospitalised, while four received medical help at the scene," he added.

Update as of 07:16: Terekhov reported that a body had been recovered from under the rubble of a destroyed building during search and rescue operations.
