One person was killed and eight others injured as Russian forces struck Kharkiv and 19 settlements across the region over the past day.
According to Ukrinform, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov reported this on Facebook.
A 79-year-old woman was killed in the town of Izium. Two women aged 72 and 66 and a 62-year-old man were also injured there.
Additional casualties were reported in several villages: two men aged 44 and 27 were injured in Hubarivka (Bohodukhiv community), a 44-year-old man was wounded in Shestakove (Starosaltiv community), and women aged 37 and 57 were injured in Zaluzhne (Novovodolazka community).
Medics also provided assistance to a 73-year-old woman who had been injured during a Russian strike on Novovasylivka on June 23.
Russian drones struck the Osnovianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv. Overall, Russian forces used missiles, various types of strike drones, and FPV drones.
Infrastructure damage was reported at fuel stations, residential buildings, vehicles, buses, railway facilities, power grids, and other civilian sites.
Earlier reports said Russian attacks on the region on June 25 killed two people and injured seven others.
