Russia's Rostov Oblast and temporarily occupied Crimea have come under strikes. Smoke has been seen over the area of an aircraft plant in Taganrog, while the Russian Naval Aviation headquarters in Sevastopol may have been hit.

Details: Slyusar said an aerial attack on Rostov Oblast had been repelled and a missile had been destroyed over Taganrog. He added that "debris from the missile caused cars to catch fire on Tsiolkovsky Street".

However, Astra analysts reported that there is a fire at the site of Aircraft Repair Plant No. 325 in Taganrog.

The plant is located around three kilometres from Tsiolkovsky Street, which Slyusar mentioned.

Aircraft Repair Plant No. 325 is an aircraft maintenance facility based in Taganrog. Due to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, it is subject to sanctions by the EU, the US and Ukraine. The 352nd Aircraft Plant is also located nearby.

Astra noted that it is not yet known whether the facilities themselves had been damaged.

The 352nd Aircraft Plant in Taganrog was attacked in December 2024.

Razvozhayev also reported an attack. A missile struck the building housing the Southern Division of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on Lazarev Square in Sevastopol, causing a roof fire and damaging an office building near Gogol Street.

However, Krymskyi Veter said that the building on Gogol Street is home to Russian Naval Aviation headquarters which, after the destruction of the main Black Sea Fleet HQ, is a key command centre for the Russian forces.
