Ukrainian P1-Sun interceptor drones developed by SkyFall are being launched from aircraft to destroy Russian Shahed-type strike UAVs.

Details: According to Fatkullin, several other interceptor drones were also tested during training flights.
"This can be described as a low-cost air-to-air missile. For us, it is also a step towards technology that will allow drones to operate in zero-visibility conditions," he added.
He also posted footage showing the interceptor being used from an aircraft, with a thermal imaging view capturing the destruction of a Russian aerial asset.
Separately, the Dyki Shershni (Wild Hornets) development team reported similar tests involving the launch of their Sting interceptor drone.
"Launching Stings from an An-28 aircraft during a hunt for Shahed drones. We have been participating in this experiment for over six months," the developers said.
They noted that this is not an isolated case, with several projects currently underway in which the Sting drone is launched from different platforms – both surface and airborne.
"Sting's elements are water, land and air," the team added.
Background:
Ukraine has also used a Soviet-era aircraft to intercept Shahed loitering munitions at night, with crews shooting down drones using machine guns during sorties.
Ukrainian forces have likewise been intercepting Shahed drones over the Black Sea using unmanned surface vessels as part of coastal defence efforts.
