Over the past day, there were 273 combat engagements between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian troops. The enemy showed the highest activity in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, publishing operational information as of 08:00 on Friday, June 5, as cited by Ukrinform.
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 95 airstrikes, dropping 289 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 9,875 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,470 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including 44 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 14 clusters of enemy personnel, two command posts, and three artillery systems.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, there were three combat engagements. The enemy carried out six airstrikes using 18 guided bombs, conducted 89 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including nine using MLRS.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 12 times near Starytsia, Lyman, and Odradne, as well as toward Izybytske, Okhrimivka, and Kolodiaznе.
In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped six attempts to advance near Novoplatonivka and toward Kupiansk, Kivsharivka, and Novoosynove.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy tried 26 times to penetrate Ukrainian defenses near Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Zarichne, Dibrova, Ozerne, and toward Shyikivka and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces carried out 13 assaults near Zakitne, Kalenyky, Riznykivka, as well as toward Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy made two unsuccessful attempts to dislodge Ukrainian forces near Fedorivka Druha and toward Yurkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Russian invaders carried out 19 attacks near Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Kostiantynivka, Stepanivka, Vilne, and Nove Shakhove.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 41 assault actions near Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, and Horikhove, as well as toward Vilne, Dorozhnie, Shevchenko, Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Oleksandrivka, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked 10 times near Sichneve, Vorone, Ternove, and Verbove.
In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces carried out 37 attacks near Rybne, Dobropillia, Varvarivka, Sviatopetrivka, Zaliznychne, and toward Pryvillia, Rizdvianka, Vozdvyzhivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Kosivtseve, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Krynychne, Huliaipilske, and Charnivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy made one assault attempt near Stepnohirsk.
In the Dnipro River sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped two offensive actions toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the formation of offensive enemy groupings were detected.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russia’s total combat losses since the beginning of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, up to June 5, 2026, amount to about 1,370,890 personnel, including 1,550 over the past day.
