Air Defense Forces shot down 114 of the 137 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine since the evening of July 9.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, the Russians launched 137 attack drones—including Shahed-type (some jet-powered), Gerbera, and Italmas—as well as Banderol loitering munitions and Parodiya-type decoy drones from the following locations: Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), as well as the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk.
The air attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, Air Defense Forces shot down or neutralized 114 drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Eighteen combat UAVs hit 16 locations, and debris from downed targets was found at four locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones currently in the air.
As reported by Ukrinform, on July 9, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv with drones. A weigh station, 19 trucks, and specialized equipment were damaged. Two people were injured.
