Greek SCYTALYS Partners with Indonesia’s PTDI on Tactical Mission System for N219 and CN235

SCYTALYS signed an MoU with PT Dirgantara Indonesia to integrate its MIMS Airborne system into N219 and CN235 aircraft, enhancing maritime surveillance capabilities and expanding opportunities in the Asia-Pacific market.

SCYTALYS Press Release

Athens, 9 April 2026. SCYTALYS (part of EFA GROUP) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI), marking an important strategic step toward strengthening the presence of both companies in the Maritime Patrol Aircraft sector. The cooperation concerns the integration of SCYTALYS systems into the maritime surveillance variants of PTDI’s N219 and CN235 aircraft.

Signing of the MoU by Dimitris Karantzavelos, President of SCYTALYS, and Moh Arif Faisal, PTDI’s Director of Commerce, Technology & Development, in the presence of Dr. Grigoris Koutsogiannis, CEO of EFA GROUP (left), and Mr. Gita Amperiawan, President of PTDI (right)

The agreement includes the integration of the SCYTALYS’s Mission Integration and Management System Airborne (MIMS Airborne) into PTDI’s N219 and CN235 aircraft, enhancing the maritime surveillance and patrol capabilities of both platforms and opening new prospects in the Asia‑Pacific market. The MoU was signed by PTDI’s Director of Commerce, Technology & Development, Mr. Moh Arif Faisal, and the President of SCYTALYS Mr. Dimitris Karantzavelos, during the Singapore Airshow 2026.

MIMS Airborne is an advanced modular C2 system based on an open‑architecture design. It integrates and manages in real time a range of critical sensors and subsystems – including radar, EO/IR, ESM/ELINT, aeronautical navigation, and tactical/strategic communications – generating an integrated Common Operational Picture (COP). By incorporating MIMS Airborne, the N219 and CN235 become fully network‑centric C4ISR nodes, significantly enhancing their operational effectiveness.

Mr. Moh Arif Faisal, PTDI’s Director of Commerce, Technology & Development, remarked: “This cooperation will enhance the operational capabilities of the N219 and CN235 aircraft and will create new opportunities for PTDI’s flagship products through competitive special‑mission solutions that meet users’ operational requirements.”

Mr. Dimitris Karantzavelos, President of SCYTALYS, remarked: “The signing of the MoU with PTDI marks an important step toward further strengthening SCYTALYS’ international presence and advancing innovative mission solutions. The integration of the MIMS Airborne system into the N219 and CN235 aircraft confirms our technological superiority and our ability to deliver reliable, interoperable, and tailored special‑mission solutions. Our cooperation with PTDI opens new prospects for SCYTALYS’ expansion in the Asia‑Pacific market, and we look forward to continuing this dynamic and highly promising partnership.”
