The Israeli Police raided the northern Israeli community of Yavne'el on Wednesday morning and detained several members on suspicion of arranging illegal marriages involving minors and conducting unlawful wedding ceremonies, including cases in which minors were allegedly married in recent months, police said.
"The Foreign Ministry is conducting a situation assessment with the relevant authorities in Israel and is examining the options for assistance," the statement said.
The operation changed the course of history as it was the impetus for US President Donald Trump to pull out of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal shortly after the operation's results were revealed.
Reuters quoted National armaments director Urs Loher as telling a press conference that it would not be Israel's Arrow defense system.
