Yermak is a suspect in a case involving the laundering of 460 million hryvnias ($10 million) through the construction of an upscale complex called “Dynasty” outside Kyiv.
He has denied wrongdoing. “I reject all the charges,” he said at a court hearing on May 12. His lawyer said the prosecution’s case rested on assumptions.
