The conflict between the US, Israel and Iran entered its 100th day with fresh diplomatic activity and renewed violence. Pakistan intensified mediation efforts between Iran and the US, while Israeli attacks in Lebanon killed senior military personnel and prompted condemnation from across the region.

Despite ongoing negotiations, military exchanges continue to threaten prospects for de-escalation.

US forces said they intercepted Iranian drones near the Strait of Hormuz as military tensions in the Gulf remained high.

Pakistan's interior minister delivered what he described as an "important message" from Islamabad to Iran's leadership, urging efforts to end the war.

Iran accused the United States of lacking the political will to reduce tensions and restore stability in the region.

Israeli strikes killed senior Lebanese military personnel, including a brigadier general, drawing condemnation from Lebanon and regional governments.

Lebanon's army commander travelled to Islamabad as Pakistan increased its diplomatic engagement in regional mediation efforts.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and other regional states condemned Israeli attacks on Lebanese military targets and violations of Lebanon's sovereignty.

Reports said US officials are considering options involving frozen Iranian assets as part of broader diplomatic discussions.

Negotiations between Tehran and Washington remain active, but Iranian officials ruled out a direct meeting between President Donald Trump and Iran's leadership while major differences persist.
