According to preliminary information, Russians struck a building in Kharkiv with an Izdeliye-30 missile.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Office of the Prosecutor General announced this on Facebook.
According to the investigation, on March 7, at around 1:35 a.m., the Russian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on Kharkiv. The missile hit a five-story residential building in the Kyivskyi district. The entrance from the first to the fifth floor was destroyed.
As of 8:30 a.m., seven people are known to have died, including two children. Ten people were injured, including three children.
People remain trapped under the rubble. The search and rescue operation is ongoing. Information will be updated.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As reported by Ukrinform, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released information about the new Russian cruise missile “Izdeliye-30,” as well as data on 20 companies involved in its production.
The missile has a wingspan of about 3 m, a warhead weighing 800 kg, and a range of at least 1,500 km. The first cases of the new missile being used against Ukraine were recorded at the end of 2025.
