Russian attacks in Kharkiv region over past day leave ten injured

Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and 17 other settlements in the Kharkiv region came under Russian attack, leaving ten people injured, including three children.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the regional state administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this on Facebook.

In Kharkiv, the injured included men aged 60 and 42, women aged 72, 47, and 34, two 7-year-old girls, and a 15-year-old girl. In the village of Bratenytsia in the Bohodukhiv community, a 62-year-old man was injured, while a 54-year-old man was wounded in the settlement of Staryi Saltiv.

Doctors also provided assistance to three people injured on May 6: a 32-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man in Izium, and a 57-year-old woman in the village of Yaremivka in the Oskil community.

A 53-year-old man was injured in the village of Osynove in the Kupiansk community as a result of an explosion caused by an unidentified device.

The enemy attacked the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv using drones.

Russian forces also attacked the Kharkiv region with two guided aerial bombs, eight Geran-2 drones, three Molniya drones, six FPV drones, and 47 drones of unidentified type.

In Kharkiv, railway infrastructure, two vehicles, a kiosk, and the windows of six private houses were damaged.

In the Bohodukhiv district, a warehouse building in Zolochiv, an educational institution in Liutivka, two apartment buildings, and a dormitory in Odnorobivka were damaged.

In the Izium district, a kindergarten, an outbuilding in Izium, and a private house in Slabunivka were damaged.

In the Kharkiv district, two private houses in Ruska Lozova and Kozacha Lopan, as well as a civilian enterprise in Vilkhivka, were damaged.

In the Chuhuiv district, a private house and two vehicles in Staryi Saltiv were damaged.

During the past day, the transit evacuation center in Lozova received 220 people. Since the center began operating, a total of 32,782 people have been registered there.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on May 7 the Russian army struck the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv with a drone, causing a fire.
