Seven other passengers – six men and one woman – sustained blast injuries and are currently hospitalized. Four of the wounded are also municipal workers.

This attack follows a broader wave of violence against the Kherson community over the past 24 hours, during which artillery and drone strikes killed one person and injured 10 others. Damage was reported to private homes, high-rise buildings, educational and medical facilities, and critical infrastructure.

Nationwide, the Ukrainian Air Force reported a massive overnight assault involving 163 drones of various types, including Shaheds, Gerberas, and Italmas. Air defense units successfully intercepted or suppressed 142 of the aircraft across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.

However, 17 drones struck 12 different locations, and falling debris was recorded at two sites.

These strikes targeted several regions. In Mykolaiv, drones targeted energy infrastructure, though no casualties were reported. Port infrastructure in the Odesa region was also attacked, though air defenses intercepted most drones with minimal destruction.
