Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Saturday said its forces carried out strikes on US military positions in the Gulf using missiles and drones.
In a statement reported by the IRNA news agency, the IRGC said the attacks targeted the al-Dhafra air base in the United Arab Emirates.
The group said the strikes destroyed radar systems, drone maintenance hangars and reconnaissance facilities at the base.
It also said missile strikes hit the Ali al-Salem air base in Kuwait, damaging radar systems, fuel storage facilities and two runways used by US aircraft.
