Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 215 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones on the night of 21-22 April. Around 140 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.

Ukraine’s air defence forces intercepted 189 out of 215 Russian drones during a large-scale overnight attack, with strikes reported at several locations.

Details: Early reports indicated that as of 08:00, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 189 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the country's north, south and east.
Hits by 24 UAVs had been recorded at 13 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 6 locations.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.
The attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in Ukrainian airspace.
