Israel's foreign ministry said troops arrested around 175 activists onboard 20 ships bound for Gaza.
"Approximately 175 activists from more than 20 boats... are now making their way peacefully to Israel," the ministry said in a statement posted on X.
The post included a video with a caption that read: "the activists enjoying themselves aboard Israeli vessels."
"The Russian supplier of the cargo will have to find an alternative destination to unload it," read a statement issued by Israel’s Grain Importers Association.
A 36-year-old man was arrested by Israel Police on Wednesday in connection with the case and is being questioned for racist assault.
US President Donald Trump has cracked down on diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in the government and in the private sector since taking office early last year.
The deposed elected leader has been granted two amnesties this month, but her remaining sentence remains unclear.
