“Five people have been hospitalized, and a 48-year-old man is in serious condition,” regional military administration chief Serhii Lysak said.

Timeline of the evening strike

Air raid sirens were activated in the Odesa region at 7:15 p.m., with an explosion heard at the same time as the alert. The Air Force had warned of a ballistic threat from the south and, at 7:14 p.m., reported a high-speed target heading toward the city.

By 7:41 p.m., the head of the Odesa military administration said infrastructure had been damaged, later clarifying that at least two people were hurt. By 8:13 p.m., authorities confirmed five hospitalized injured, including one person in serious condition, before the toll was updated again later that night.

The Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office has opened a pre-trial investigation into suspected war crimes in connection with the attack, citing Part 1, Article 438 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code. Officials say the injured include a 58-year-old woman and five men aged 37 to 69, several of whom suffered shrapnel wounds.
