Russian blogger Victoria Bonya said she has been invited to appear live on a broadcast hosted by propagandist Vladimir Solovyov’s team.
Bonya announced on her Telegram channel on April 23 that she would accept the invitation. The broadcast was set for the week of April 28, though she gave no specific date or venue.
“I’ll go on air because I really hope that Mr. Solovyov will have the wisdom and courage to apologize — because fine, call me an ‘aging slut with a filthy stinking mouth,’ but calling women my age ‘aging’ — I think that’s really beyond the pale,” Bonya said in an Instagram story.
Representatives of Solovyov did not comment.
In mid-April, Victoria Bonya released a video address to Vladimir Putin listing five problems she said “not a single governor will speak about”: flooding in Dagestan, pollution on beaches in Anapa, rules allowing the killing of animals listed in the Red Book, the seizure of livestock in the Novosibirsk Region, and internet restrictions.
