Officers were attempting to apprehend a suspect on a federal wanted list in the settlement of Akkermanovka when the suspect spotted them and opened fire, according to the Telegram channels Shot, Baza, and 112.
The three wounded officers were in serious but stable condition, the Health Ministry reported. Four ambulance crews were working at the scene.
