Aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) is now operating in the Middle East as the U.S. war with Iran nears its second week. The Pentagon on Friday posted photos showing Ford and USS Bainbridge (DDG-96) sailing through the Suez Canal on Thursday.
