A total of 236 combat engagements between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders were recorded along the frontline over the past 24 hours, with the heaviest fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this in its update as of 08:00 on March 29.
The enemy launched one missile strike using a single missile, carried out 89 airstrikes, and dropped 280 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 8,769 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,886 shelling attacks, including 79 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian airstrikes targeted areas near Vozdvyzhivka, Novosoloshyne, Dolynka, Kopani, Shyroke, Huliaipilske, and Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region; Parysheve in the Kherson region; and Bublikove and Vilna Sloboda in the Sumy region.
Ukrainian aviation struck eight areas where Russian personnel were concentrated.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out 92 shelling attacks, including two with MLRS.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attempted five assaults on Ukrainian defensive positions near Starytsia, Prylipka, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, and Chuhunivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched nine attacks near Pishchane, Petropavlivka, Kruhliaivka, and toward Novoplatonivka and Kurylivka.
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attacked five times, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses near Drobyshcheve, Stavky, and Novoselivka.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attempts by Russian troops to advance near Zakitne, Riznykivka, Platonivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy made three attempts to improve its tactical position, assaulting toward Nykyforivka and near Predtechyne.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces carried out 27 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Novopavlivka, Kleban-Byk, Ivanopillia, Yablunivka, and toward Illinivka, Sofiivka, Berestok, and Kucheriv Yar.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 57 assault actions near Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhirodnie, Molodetske, Nove Shakhove, Chervonyi Lyman, Novopavlivka, Dachne, and toward Hryshyne, Shevchenko, and Filiia.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 22 times near Ternove, Oleksandrohrad, Ivanivka, Zelenyi Hai, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sichneve, and toward Sosnivka, Verbove, and Zlahoda.
In the Huliaipole sector, 33 attacks were recorded near Huliaipole, Varvarivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Myrne, and toward Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Hirke, Huliaipilske, and Tsvitkove.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy launched ten attacks near Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Stepove.
In the Dnipro River sector, Russian forces conducted two assault actions toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
No signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
