President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte have discussed the involvement of additional countries in an initiative to purchase US weapons for Ukraine and an increase in current contributions.

Andrius Kubilius, EU Commissioner for Defence and Space, said that about 800 US-made interceptor missiles had been used in the Middle East over three days, exceeding the number Ukraine used during the winter.
Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, expressed concern that weapons and defence capabilities, including air defence systems needed in Ukraine, are currently being redirected to the Middle East.
Zelenskyy said that the situation in the Middle East has not yet affected the supply of US weapons to Ukraine under the PURL initiative, particularly missiles for air defence systems.
