Until a short while ago, I supported the establishment of a joint slate of Arab parties. I figured it would affect both camps equally. I surmised that if the list increased voter turnout among Arab citizens and yielded 16 or 17 Knesset seats to represent the Arab population, it would be worth it. No one could ignore such a force, and the showing would find its expression in the actions of any government.
