Air Defense Forces shot down 110 of the 118 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine since the evening of June 12.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, the Russians launched 118 attack UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parody-type decoy drones from the following directions: Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), as well as the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, Air Defense Forces shot down or neutralized 110 enemy drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Three combat UAVs hit three locations, and downed targets (debris) were found at six locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs currently in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, a 44-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were injured in Mykolaiv as a result of an attack by Russian drones. A 10-year-old boy suffered an acute stress reaction.
