Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 91 out of 98 drones launched by Russian forces in an overnight attack that began on the evening of June 13.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
From 18:00 on Saturday, June 13, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 98 strike UAVs, including Shahed-type drones (including jet-powered variants), Gerbera, Italmas, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parodiya decoy drones. The drones were launched from Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as Chauda and Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation units, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 08:00 on Sunday, June 14, preliminary data indicates that air defense shot down or jammed 91 enemy drones over northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
Seven strike drones hit targets at six locations, while debris from downed drones fell at four additional locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still present in Ukrainian airspace.
