Air defense forces have shot down 380 drones used by Russian troops to attack Ukraine since last night. Enemy strikes were recorded at seven locations.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
According to military reports, starting at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, Russian invaders launched the following against Ukraine:
a “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missile—from the airspace of the Ryazan Oblast of the Russian Federation;
442 drones of various types – from the directions of the Russian cities of Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the territory of the temporarily occupied towns of Hvardiyske and Chauda (Crimea). About 300 of these targets were Shahed-type drones.
The enemy attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Preliminary data indicates that as of 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, air defense forces had shot down or jammed 380 Russian UAVs of various types, including Shahed, “Gerbera,” and “Italmas.”
Enemy strike drones were recorded hitting seven locations, and downed targets (debris) were found at 14 others.
The Air Force emphasizes: invaders’ UAVs are still in the skies over Ukraine—the attack continues. Citizens are urged to follow safety guidelines.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the evening of March 28, Russian invaders attacked the Voskresenka community in the Mykolaiv region with Shahed-type drones, resulting in injuries to eight people, seven of whom were children.
