Amid military success, Israel and U.S. still can't get Iranians to rise against the regime
Israeli defense officials believe achieving the war's goals will take another 4-6 weeks, and even then, the collapse of the Iranian regime won't be certain, even as about half of the 50 senior regime figures who were targets for assassination have been killed

Eight days after the war with Iran began, the American and Israeli defense establishments both say they have succeeded beyond expectations. The pace of attacks on regime targets is higher than predicted, and the Iranians are launching only a limited number of missiles and drones at the Israeli home front, due both to airstrikes on their launchers and launch cells and because they are dividing their fire between Israel and the Gulf states.
