Authorities in Bahrain on Sunday said that sirens were activated, while advising people to "head to the nearest safe place", Al Jazeera reported. 

“Citizens and residents are urged to remain calm and head to the nearest safe place,” Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said in a brief statement.
