Citing clan feud, IDF besieges West Bank town, blocks Palestinian security forces from entering
The IDF has blocked dozens of roads into Beit Ummar for two months and recently began barricading internal streets. The military claims families requested the closures due to the deadly clan feud that has claimed seven lives - while residents say daily life is paralyzed but ammunition keeps flowing

Over the past two months, the Israel Defense Forces have closed the main and secondary access roads to the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, as well as its side roads to agricultural areas. As a result, vehicles can neither enter nor leave the community, nor can farmers reach their lands.
