Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's lies precede him. It's hard to think of anyone in the political system, or among the general public, who would argue with the fact that he's a liar, regardless of their political affiliation. As readers may recall, his natural partner, Religious Zionism Chairman Bezalel Smotrich, once called him "a liar and the son of a liar" – a Hebrew phrase that means "pathological liar." And since then, it's become a frequent moniker for the prime minister.
