Hamas urged Iran not to target neighbouring countries as tensions escalate in the region, while backing Tehran’s right to respond to US and Israeli actions.
The Palestinian group said it supports Iran’s right to respond to the “US-Israeli aggression by all available means in accordance with international norms and laws,” but “calls upon our brothers in Iran not to target neighbouring countries”.
Hamas urged regional states to cooperate to stop the aggression and preserve “the bonds of brotherhood among them.”
