On the morning of July 8, Russian forces attacked a minibus with a drone in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson; one person was killed and others were wounded.
According to Ukrinform, Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“According to preliminary information, as a result of an enemy drone attack on a minibus around 7:00 a.m. in the Korabelnyi district, a woman sustained fatal injuries. The relevant services are currently trying to identify her,” the message states.
One of the injured is in critical condition. Doctors are fighting to save his life.
The bus driver suffered a concussion. The vehicle sustained significant damage.
Later, Shanko reported that five more victims had been taken to the hospital. A 40-year-old woman and men aged 46, 55, and 57 are believed to have sustained blast injuries.
A 47-year-old woman was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome, blast injuries, and a closed head injury.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces shelled 47 settlements in the Kherson region over the past 24 hours, wounding 18 people.
