Iran's foreign minister denied on Sunday that Iran has targeted civilian or residential areas in the Middle East and said Tehran is ready to form a committee with its neighbors to investigate the responsibility for such strikes.
Gulf countries have called upon Iran to cease its attacks on their territories, which have not only sustained strikes on U.S. military bases but also damage to energy facilities and residential areas.
Abbas Araghchi's Telegram channel quoted him as saying in an interview with Qatari newspaper Al-Araby al-Jadeed that Tehran was in communication with various Gulf capitals and would welcome any initiative that could guarantee a complete end to the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.
The Israeli army carried out an additional wave of strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure across Lebanon on Saturday, according to an IDF statement.
Dozens of missile launches from Lebanon were identified by the IDF since the morning hours, some of which were intercepted while others fell in open areas.

"Several Hezbollah launch sites in the Al-Qatrani area, from which Hezbollah terrorists planned to launch rockets imminently, were struck," the statement said.
The IDF also said it targeted and dismantled Hezbollah's Radwan Force command centers in Beirut, which it described as coordinating operations against Israel.

The Israeli Health Ministry announced that since the beginning of the war, 3,195 people have been evacuated to hospitals, of whom 81 are currently hospitalized.

Of the 81 hospitalized, one is in critical condition, nine are in serious condition, ten are in moderate condition, 60 are in mild condition, and one is undergoing medical evaluation.
The ministry also announced that in the past 24 hours, 108 wounded people were admitted to hospitals, of whom two are in moderate condition, 96 are in mild condition, nine are due to anxiety cases, and one is undergoing medical evaluation.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Fars News Agency reported that 223 women have been killed in attacks since the start of the war, including three pregnant women.
According to reports, 202 children have been killed in attacks, twelve of them under the age of five.
153 medical centers across Iran have been damaged and three health workers killed since the start of the war, according to the news report.
South Korea is considering sending warships to the Strait of Hormuz after U.S. President Donald Trump called on it and other countries to take part in its defense. The country reported that the administration will be in close contact with the United States regarding the US president's request.
Trump said Saturday that "many countries will be sending warships to the Strait of Hormuz, in cooperation with the United States, to keep it open and safe." He added that "it is hoped that China, France, Japan, South Korea, Britain and other countries affected by the situation will also send ships to the region, so that there will not be a threat there from a country whose head has been completely beheaded."
Trump threatened that "in the meantime, the United States will heavily bomb Iran's coastline, and will continue to attack Iranian ships outside the waters."
The United Arab Emirates said it intercepted incoming missile and drone attacks from Iran on Sunday morning, according to an X post by the Defense Ministry.
Earlier attacks were also reported, including against other Gulf states.
Anwar Gargash, advisor to UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, said overnight that his country did indeed have the right to defend itself against the "terrorist aggression."
At the same time, he said the UAE wanted to continue to act with reason and restraint.
The UAE is exercising restraint while simultaneously seeking a way out of the crisis for Iran and the wider Middle East region, Gargash added.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote on X overnight that Tehran was calling on its "brotherly neighbors" to drive out foreign aggressors, saying their "sole concern is Israel."

Earlier this week, Iran's newly appointed supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, called on Gulf states to close U.S. bases on their territory in a statement read out on state television by a presenter.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps threatened Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday, saying that if he is "still alive, we will continue pursuing him and kill him with full force."
On their website, Sepah News, the Guards vowed to target Netanyahu directly, calling him a "child-killing criminal" and saying, "If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force."
Iran's Revolutionary Guards also said they launched a joint missile attack with Hezbollah against Israel on Sunday, according to Fars.
