The Israeli government is struggling to achieve its employment goal for the ultra-Orthodox community, a new report published by the Labor Ministry on Wednesday shows, as data from previous years shows a steady low employment rate among men and a sharp increase in yeshiva students.
“We’ve proved that we stand with the US. I’m not sure it will be of interest to the US that Israel will join on this - but, you know, we realize that we need to stretch our muscles,” a source said.
