Russian army loses 1,440 troops, one air defense system in war against Ukraine over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to June 2, 2026, have reached approximately 1,366,910 personnel, including 1,440 troops killed over the past day. 

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

Ukrainian defenders have also destroyed: 11,969 (+3) Russian tanks, 24,666 (+7) armored combat vehicles, 43,112 (+75) artillery systems, 1,821 (+1) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,400 (+1) air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,542 (+14) ground robotic systems, 323,762 (+1,583) operational-tactical UAVs, 4,693 cruise missiles, 33 warships / boats, 2 submarines, 102,138 (+517) vehicles and fuel tankers, 4,241 (+2) units of special equipment. The figures are being updated.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, there were 178 combat clashes on the front line over the past day.
