Overnight in the Poltava region, a Russian drone struck the grounds of an enterprise.
According to Ukrinform, Vitalii Diakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“Overnight, an enemy UAV struck the grounds of one of the industrial facilities in the Poltava district. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” Diakivnych noted.
According to the State Emergency Service, rescue workers have already extinguished the fire.
“A fire broke out as a result of the Russian attack on one of the industrial facilities in the Poltava region. More than 50 rescue workers and 20 pieces of equipment from the State Emergency Service were deployed to deal with the aftermath,” the State Emergency Service clarified, confirming that no reports of casualties had been received.
As reported by Ukrinform, 36 settlements in the Poltava region were left without power following shelling by the Russian Federation.
