Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 260 out of 286 drones launched by Russian invaders in an overnight attack that started on the evening of April 3.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
From 18:00 on Friday, April 3, the enemy launched 286 attack UAVs, including Shahed-type drones, as well as Gerbera, Italmas, and other types, from Shatalovo, Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Around 200 of them were Shahed-type drones.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 07:00 on Saturday, April 4, air defenses had shot down or suppressed 260 drones across northern, southern, eastern, and central Ukraine.
Direct hits by 11 attack drones were recorded at ten locations, with debris from downed drones falling at six locations.
The attack is ongoing, with around 20 enemy drones still in Ukrainian airspace.
