Air defense forces shot down 267 of the 289 drones used by Russian troops to attack Ukraine beginning on the evening of March 30.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, the Russians launched 289 attack UAVs of the Shahed, “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and other types from the following directions: Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), and Hvardiyske (temporarily occupied Crimea), with about 200 of them being Shahed-type drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, air defense forces shot down or neutralized 267 drones.
Hits by 20 attack UAVs were recorded at 11 locations, as well as the crash of downed drones (debris) at six locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, in Poltava, as a result of a Russian attack on the night of March 31, one person was killed and four others were injured, including two children.
