The Arab League will hold an emergency meeting of foreign ministers on Sunday to discuss what officials described as Iranian attacks on several Gulf countries.
The meeting will take place via video conference, according to the bloc’s assistant secretary-general.
Hossam Zaki said the session was requested by Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Jordan and Egypt.
Several launch sites identified in western and central Iran were also struck in order to reduce the scope of fire directed at the State of Israel.
