Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi has told his German counterpart, Johan Wadephul, that Iran is entering talks with the US with "complete distrust", according to the Mehr news agency.
Araghchi reportedly told Wadephul in a phone call that Iran "will fight with full authority to secure the interests and rights of the Iranian people". He pointed to previous "betrayals of diplomacy" by the US.
