Drones attack oil pipeline facility in Krasnodar region, Russia

On the night of April 9, drones attacked a key oil pipeline facility in Russia's Krasnodar region—the Krymskaya Line Production and Dispatch Station.

According to Ukrinform, Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, reported this on Telegram.

“In the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation on the night of April 9, drones attacked the Krymskaya Line Production and Dispatch Station, which is a key hub of the oil pipeline infrastructure,” Kovalenko noted.

The governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratyev, reported the drone attack.

According to him, a man was killed by UAV debris in the village of Sauk-Dere as a result of the attack. Fragments of the destroyed drones also fell in a field on the outskirts of Krymsk and on the territory of one of the enterprises.

Kondratyev did not specify which enterprise was involved.

The Telegram channel Astra, citing residents' reports, writes that the facility in question is the Krymskaya Line Production and Dispatch Station. This is an oil pipeline infrastructure facility within the main pipeline system. As a result of the strike, a 110 kV substation at the Krymsk Oil Pumping Station caught fire.

According to Astra, the Krymskaya Line Production and Dispatch Station transfers oil and petroleum products via several main oil pipelines, including to the port of Novorossiysk, as well as to the Ilsky and Afipsky oil refineries.

As reported by Ukrinform, pilots from the 9th Kairos Battalion of the 414th Unmanned Systems Brigade "Magyar's Birds" struck the Maritime Oil Terminal facility in the temporarily occupied city of Feodosiia, which had been supplying fuel and lubricants to the Russians.
