India said that an Indian-flagged ship had been attacked off the coast of Oman on Wednesday and all crew on board were safe.
"The attack ... is unacceptable and we deplore the fact that commercial shipping and civilian mariners continue to be targeted," India's foreign ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The statement did not say who had carried out the attack.
The wounded were evacuated to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya for treatment.
New capability would reduce reliance on aerial refueling and improve operational flexibility in long-range missions. But it remains unclear if it would affect aircraft's stealth capabilities
The event, which took place near the Old City walls, drew approximately 30 senior diplomats from 15 countries.
