Authorities in Zanjan Province have warned residents of planned controlled explosions as part of efforts to dispose of unexploded ordnance from recent attacks, according to Tasnim News Agency.

The announcement by the Ansar al-Mahdi Corps said the detonations are part of operations to neutralise inoperative munitions and ensure public safety.
