The Israeli military said several rockets were fired by Hezbollah towards Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon during the past few hours, adding that the projectiles landed near troops without causing injuries.
The army also said it intercepted a “hostile aerial target” aimed at Israeli forces in the area.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Home Front Command reported that warning sirens sounded in Avivim in the Upper Galilee following what it described as a hostile infiltration.
Separately, an Israeli drone strike targeted the town of Zibdin in southern Lebanon, Al Jazeera reported.
